The Ambassade Hotel consists of 10 originally seperated 17th- century buildings along Amsterdam's main canal: Herengracht. The hotel has now 59 rooms and suites, all stylishly designed with classical furniture and modern art. The hotel has 2 lounges and a large breakfastroom overlooking the canal. It also has a library with an extensive collection of books that have been signed by the numerous authors that stayed here over the years and a free internet office for guests to use.

The Ambassade Hotel has a beautiful breakfastroom, with large chandeliers and overlooking the canal. Lunch, snacks and a small dinner can be ordered around the clock from roomservice. The reception also gladly recommends one of the numerous restaurants in the area and can make dinner-reservations.
