Banks Mansion is situated on the Herengracht in a former bank building and has been transformed into a four star plus hotel “with a personal touch” where old fashioned values and hospitality are the priority. A combination of specific Old Amsterdam Design and modern comfort. Inspiration for the interior design were Berlage, the Amsterdams School and Frank Lloyd Wright. The guest will immediately experience a feeling of authentic Amsterdam design with today’s comfort. Based on the philosophy that guests at Banks Mansion should feel at home, we are introducing “Back Home”. Banks Mansion provides an especially furnished lounge designed in the theme of the Amsterdam School called “The Living” where the guest will feel at home. During weekdays you can enjoy live cooking in “The Kitchen”, a delicious breakfast will be prepared and served to you on demand from an open kitchen.
