For a truly unique and peaceful experience enjoy a stay in this well equipped Amsterdam houseboat, set in a peaceful location to the north-west of the city with some beautiful views over the water. Imagine waking up in the morning with the sun shining and the reflection of the canal water rippling on your bedroom ceiling. From the window of the houseboat you can feed the ducks and swans as you take in views of one of Amsterdam’s 2 large windmills. Take a walk along the canal with the edge of the city centre about a 20 minute walk away. On your way you will pass through some of the most picturesque areas of Amsterdam including the Westerpark and the Jordaan. Near to the houseboat there are plenty of cheap parking spaces and public transport links to the city centre.

The houseboat has a private entrance, is fully furnished and sleeps up to 4 people. During your stay you will have the houseboat entirely to yourself. The owners speak fluent English, German, Dutch and basic French. Please note that the entire hotel is non smoking.

Comments

Immediately after making your booking you must contact the owners of the houseboat to indicate your time of arrival. At least one week (in the summer and Christmas/New year period, at least 3 weeks) before your arrival date you must inform the owners of your definite arrival time. In some periods (summer period and Christmas/New year) period we ask for partly advance-payment.

Food & Beverage

No meals are provided. The houseboat is fully equipped for self-catering with a kitchen, gas hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans. Coffee, tea, sugar, coffee whitener, salt, pepper and some spices are provided for free. Near to the houseboat there are small food shops, a supermarket, takeaway food and various restaurants.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Child Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
